Oooooooooof. This book....On one hand, it was entertaining and offered plenty of heat and banter, but y i k e s...can we address the use of a “ woman’s biological clock” as a plot point? I thought we left this nonsense in the eighties. It was not a welcome read! There were so many ways the desire for having a child/becoming a mother could have been addressed without the use of these antiquated notions. Although the book was entertaining, I rather not be hit in the face with these ideas that should’ve gone the way of the aqua net. Read only if this nonsense doesn’t annoy you and you’re okay with perpetuating these ridiculous stereotypes.
